What should we do if we are harmed by carbon monoxide, a toxic gas, in our daily life?
1. Turn off the open fire at the first time
After smelling the smell of gas, do not turn on the light, do not touch the doorbell, and do not light the open fire to prevent explosion. The rescue personnel shall ensure safety (cover mouth and nose with wet towel) and turn off the gas.
2. Get out of toxic environment
Open the doors and windows of the closed room and let the patient breathe fresh air immediately;
3. Proper recumbent position
(1) Immediately place the patient in a lateral position and loosen the patient's collar to ensure that the respiratory tract is unobstructed and prevent suffocation; Closely observe the patient's consciousness, breathing and pulse. If the patient's breathing and heartbeat stop without assistance, the rescuer should call the emergency call in time while performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation to send the poisoned person to the hospital with hyperbaric oxygen chamber for rescue;
(2) For patients who are unconscious, their heads can be turned to one side to prevent the vomit from being sucked into the lungs by mistake and causing asphyxia;
